Honor is a sub-brand of Huawei. It has released its new flagship phone Honor 10 at an event in China today. The worldwide release of the phone is hoped to be on May 15 at an event in London. From the features, the phone can be considered as the budget variant of the recently released Huawei P20 Pro.

Price of Honor 10

The Honor 10 starting cost is CNY 2,599 (approx 413 US Dollar) for 6GB RAM version. This version paired with 64GB internal storage. The other version that packs in 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage prices CNY 2,999 (approx 476 US Dollar). Both versions come in Black, Teal, and Twilight color alternatives. Registrations for the 1st sale of the Honor 10 in China commence today, after which, the phone will be ready as part of a flash sale on April 27 via Tmall, Suning, vMall, and some other shops in China.

Specifications of Honor 10

Honor 10 comes with a 5.84-inch LCD FHD+ display of 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution with 19:9 aspect ratio. Powered by the Kirin 970 processor same as the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro. It comes in two storage options 6GB RAM+64GB ROM and 8GB RAM+128GB ROM. The Honor 10 features a dual rear camera setup comprising of 24-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 16-megapixel secondary camera with the same f/1.8 aperture.

The camera boasts of artificial intelligence features and can support 4K video recording with the back camera and a full HD video with the smartphone’s 24-megapixel front-facing shooter with a f/2.0 aperture. The camera app comes with various modes such as AR mode, portrait mode, ‘3D Creative Shooting’, panorama mode, etc.

Backed by a 3400mAh battery, the Honor 10 runs Android 8.1 Oreo with Huawei’s Emotion UI 8.1 skin on the top. Security features include facial recognition and fingerprint scanner as well. In terms of connectivity, the phone has a dual-SIM 4G VoLTE slots along with USB Type-C port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi and GPS capabilities.
