First Android Go Smartphone:
Taiwanese multinational computer and phone company Asus is said to have declared that its new budget phone ZenFone Live L1 on Wednesday. The device will be released in Indonesia on May 17, alongside the ZenFone 5. The device coming soon for all countries. Key highlights: The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition). It has Face Unlock features. The phone has an 18:9 FullView display with a triple-slot SIM or SD card tray.
This also makes it the 1st Android Go phone. One variant will come with Google’s suite of apps built for Android Go. The phones Pricing and availability details are not yet available for Indonesia peoples or other phone markets. Indonesia release was reported by a blog, which claimed it will be priced around the IDR 1.5 million (107.32 US Dollar) mark. The phone comes with Rose Pink, Midnight Black, White, and Blue color variants.
Asus ZenFone Live L1 specifications:
The ZenFone Live L1 has two variants. The first variant has 2GB Ram that runs ZenUI 5.0 on top of Android Oreo. The second variant has 1GB Ram that runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition), out-of-the-box. The device will come with a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display. The display resolution is 720×1440 pixels with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset.
The phone coupled with 1GB or 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 308. In terms of optics, the phone can bear a 13MP back camera with PDAF and LED flash. On the front, the phone will feature a 5MP camera for selfies and video calling. There is expected to be 16GB of internal storage on the phone. It has a microSD card slot, it supports up to 2TB. However, the phone has a 3000mAh battery.
In terms of connectivity, on the ZenFone Live L1 include Bluetooth, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and a Micro-USB port with OTG support. However, the phone has no fingerprint sensor that is disappointing. In past, the company had released its latest mid-range phone the ZenFone Max Pro M1 in worldwide. The phone comes with a 5.99-inch full-HD+ display. The display resolution is 1080×2160 pixels with the same 18:9 aspect ratio. This phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
