Aiyaary Fails To Get Clearance

Only a week away from its release. Neeraj Pandey’s  thriller Aiyaary has run into trouble with the CBFC (Central Bureau of Certification). Next in line after the much controversial Padmavati. Aiyaary is still awaiting clearance on its Film print.

A source close to the development shared it. The Defence Ministry wants to review the film.
The film which revolves around a plot that showcases corruption within the system. Defence Ministry is going to review the film.

With this development. The makers are now on the spot. It affects the film’s domestic release.The overseas release is expected to face trouble too.

 If it does manage to hit the screens on its scheduled release date. Aiyaary will lock horns with Akshay Kumar-starrer female hygiene drama PadMan. At the box-office.

Aiyaary also stars Anupam Kher, Kumud Mishra, Naseeruddin Shah, Rakul Preet Singh and Pooja Chopra in important roles.

The film has had to change the release date. once already following Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s resolve to release Padmavati.  Aiyaary was going to hit the theatres. In order to avoid a clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali Padmavati and Akshay Kumar’s film with a social message. Padman, the makers decided to postpone the release of the film. However, later on, Bhansali’s request, Akshay Kumar shifted his film date. On February 9, putting Airaary back to square 1.
