Samsung Releases Galaxy J2 (2018) In India

Samsung has released a new budget phone in India named the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018). It is the successor to the previous version of Galaxy J2 (2017) phone and boasts of having the Samsung Mall app. The Samsung Mall provides features like One-stop Shop, a Universal Cart and Visual Search. This app was 1st released with the Galaxy On7 Prime in January 2018. Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) include ‘Device Maintenance’ feature. This is other impressive features of this budget phone. The device comes with ‘Move to Memory Card’ feature. This feature moves content from social media apps to the memory card automatically.

Price of the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018)

The smartphone company has priced this budget phone Galaxy J2 (2018) at Rs 8,190 (122.97 US Dollar). The phone has also partnered with Reliance Jio telecom operator to give an instant cashback offer of Rs 2,750. This offer only for those who recharge with the MyJio app for Rs 198 (2.97 US Dollar) or Rs 299 (4.49 US Dollar). As part of the Jio offer, on every recharge, people get 10GB of internet data for the next ten recharges.

Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018)

Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) comes with a 5-inch qHD Super AMOLED display. The display resolution is 960×540 pixels. The device powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor with Snapdragon 425 chipset. It has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It has also a microSD card slot that supports up to 128GB. The device has an 8MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera with an LED flash. The phone has a 2600mAh battery. Samsung has not announced the OS version of the phone.
