While Sony has extended its audio line up in Asia, the company has released a new smartphone, Xperia XZ2 Premium. Sony is the Japanese consumer electronics giant.There is no official price of the phone at the moment, but the company has confirmed that it will be available worldwide sometime in 2018. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a successor to the Xperia XZ, that was released at MWC 2018. This is the 1st phone from the company to feature a dual rear camera setup.
In terms of specs, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium comes with a 5.8-inch 4K HDR Triluminos display. The display resolution is 2160×3840 pixel with the X-Reality for the mobile engine. The display has a cover of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back. And it is rated IP65/68, making it water resistant. The phone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 845 Qualcomm processor. It comes with 6GB RAM. The phone is backed by a 3540mAh battery. It has a Smart Stamina feature. Qnovo Adaptive Charging and Battery Care that is claimed to improve the lifespan of the battery. There is a 64GB internal storage and a microSD card support of up to 400GB.
In terms of camera, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a Motion Eye Dual camera setup of 19 MP with a 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor. It has 1.22-micron pixels, and a f/1.8 aperture camera feature coupled with a 12 MP black. On the front, peoples get a 13 MP camera with a 22mm wide-angle lens, f/2.0 aperture, and an Exmor RS sensor.
